THEATRE CLEAN-UP FOR 'GENESIS'
The interior of the Empire Theatre has been "spruced up", ready for the production of "Genesis" on May 12 by the Darling Downs Youth Theatre.
Director of "Genesis", Mr Rick Thompson, said 40 members of the D.D.Y.T, parents and volunteers moved in on Easter Saturday with mops, buckets, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
Rehearsals started on Easter Sunday, and from now until the production on Thursday, May 12, the Darling Downs Youth Theatre will have the use of the theatre.
"Genesis" will be performed on an acting area which runs from the front of the stage into the auditorium.
